Nonfrasa presents Riar Rizaldi’s participation in Crash, Crush, a group exhibition at Inside-Out Art Museum, Beijing. As part of the exhibition, Riar Rizaldi presents Larung (2024), a 5-minute song and music video composed in collaboration with Wahono and Stella Gareth.
SAMATRA
In Balinese, SAMATRA carries multiple meanings. It can refer to a simple offering, a brief greeting, a modest welcome, or something given just enough. Inspired by these meanings, the exhibition invites us to rediscover the quiet gestures that deepen our relationships with nature, one another, and the world we share.
Equipoise
Equipoise explores the quiet tension of maintaining balance in a world that is constantly transforming. In his latest solo exhibition, Wayan Upadana reflects on the human condition through sculptural forms that are at once playful, contemplative, and profoundly familiar.
Rua
The poetry written by Deyu and the visuals of Kharma, combined in a performance, will convey messages, expressions, and the transformation of emotions into acceptance.
Surviving a storm is like guessing what lies ahead, and with that in mind, this exhibition is designed to celebrate the desire to continue growing amidst drought.
Monisme
Moving fluidly between documentary, horror, and science fiction, the film explores the volatile human-nature dynamics on Mount Merapi. Forged through collective filmmaking where the factual, scientific, and magical intertwine, the narrative tracks a mystic defying paramilitary violence, a volcanologist predicting a cataclysm, and a sand miner confronting an extraction economy. The presentation showcases a three-channel video fragment and process archives.
