Showcasing the works of Ade Itameda and Eka Mardiys 'home MADE' invites you to rethink the notion of Bali as the collective home, both for Balinese and outsiders.
As a wordplay, it is a call to Made (the stand-in of the Balinese name) to be aware of the ever-evolving home island. It is also a reference to Ade and Eka's works created in the Sekala studio as our home base, often also rooted in the traditions of the homeland.

Paraphasia, a linguistic phenomenon where unintended syllables or phrases emerge, disrupts the expected flow of communication. Yet, within this disruption lies a peculiar beauty, a space where misplaced words and lost meanings reciprocate opportunities for humor, poetry, and new interpretations.
